Normally I make my own cookies from scratch. I just usually like it better that way. But, every once in a while I just want to eat a cookie and not have to make it. I grabbed these the other day, after carefully checking the ingredients, because Pamela’s is notorious for using almond flour. So, if you have any nut allergies, I’m sure you already check for that.
Funny how things change after you go GF. Your tastes, your memories of how things tasted. Things that you didn’t even necessarily like kind of become this fond memory. Like these cookies…..they remind me of a Chip’s Ahoy cookie, the original one, only mini. I was never a huge fan of them before, but this is a good imitation of them, and very enjoyable. I even used them on the S’more Bites, since I didn’t have any graham crackers or cookies.
They aren’t super cheap, which is another reason why I usually make my own cookies. Any GF cookie that’s worth eating is not too cheap, unless you hit a sale or clearance. I paid $3.69 for this 7 oz bag at Kroger.
