The weeks are just flying by….I can’t believe it’s the middle of October (almost)! I thought Fall was here, but it was just kidding. It warmed back up, I had to turn my A/C back on. It’s hot, but not Summertime hot, I guess. Still, I was so ready for the cooler temps to stay. Thankful it’s not too hot to use the oven and I can actually bake again.
My brother gave me some GINORMOUS sweet potatoes, seriously, they were the size of small footballs. I should’ve taken pictures before I cooked them. We had them for dinner and then I made soup and my girl asked me to make a sweet potato pie. Which is odd, really, since she doesn’t like sweet potatoes. I guess it just goes to show if you bake it in a pie it must be good! All of this with just three, yes, three of those potatoes.
